Jennifer Heller has spent 14 years pushing pixels and wrangling code to empower small businesses to have a big web presence. She founded web design and social media firm Artsy Geek, which continues to churn out designs on the cutting edge of adaptability, marketing, and client satisfaction. Jen has loved to call Oakland home ever since ousted from Berkeley’s lettered womb. She retrospects on code, cats, and catastrophe cocktails over at jenniferheller.com and from her Twitter perch.
Sanja graduated with degrees in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley. She has three years experience as a front end lead and has been creating websites for over a decade.
She is the resident coder and can bend web technologies to her will – and yours.
Aimee has been a happy Bay Area resident since graduating from UC Berkeley.
Having spent years working for non-profits in an array of development positions, Aimee is familiar with many aspects of the power of Social Media.

Becca started writing copy the minute she learned to speak. Thankfully, her writing skills and sense of humor have improved somewhat since then.
She is excited to be working with Artsy Geek Designs and is busy plotting her next Geek-related tweets.
Lindsay studied typography and graphic design in Germany while learning to cook Käse Spätzle and master the German language.
She boycotted website design all together until she met the capable and speedy coders of Artsy Geek. Her passion for clean design, mixed with Artsy Geek’s talent of making that design work on the screen, made website designing fun!
Lindsay lives and creates in Seattle, WA after a long and educational stint in southern California. Though still loving print design and the smell of ink on paper, she has designed plenty of beautiful sites with Artsy Geek.
John graduated with degrees in mathematics from UC Berkeley. He’s been dabbling in all sorts of web technologies including Flash, PHP, and Ruby since he was a freshman in high school. And worked as a full-time freelancer before becoming an Artsy Geek.
Alexandra recalls her first impulse towards beautifying information as filling in the blank spots of her homework worksheet with undulating stripes of glitter crayon. She felt the sparkling swirls transformed the white sheet of educational drudgery into appealing content. The teacher graded the worksheet without comment.
Taking the tenet “what goes around comes around” to heart, Alex’s favorite part of working for Artsy Geek is knowing that she is helping produce top-quality web designs that will serve the clients well. When Alex isn’t crunching code or furiously emptying the Artsy Geek to-do list, she is ecstatic dancing, pondering philosophy, or plotting an Earth-friendly clothing line–often all at once.
